Engineering/Public Works

The Engineering Division administers all engineering and various Public Works activities of the City in accordance with the directives of the Common Council. This Division is also responsible for development review, construction, and field services, including: Administering Developer Agreements, Permits for Working within Right-of-Way, Planning Design for Public Works Projects, Storm water management, Street construction / reconstruction.

The Public Works Division is responsible for all operational and maintenance activities of providing safe and efficient roadways for all modes of travel, of providing garbage, recycling, leaf and brush pick-up, of providing snow clearing and removal, and of providing timely repairs to all City roadway infrastructure.
